EM – Fantastic Ribble Valley Ride Sportive:  perfect weather, flapjack at Bolton by Bowland food station, great company – Lisa  travelled all the way from Birmingham to take part, bacon butty waiting at the end and a lovely cup of tea then to top it off a shoulder, neck & back massage from the lovely Jane O’Connor, Whalley Physiotherapist. Thank you to Bill Honeywell and everyone who worked so hard to make it happen .

DH – (from the Rosemere Cancer Foundation) –  Really enjoyed my first ride. Everything from the food, riders & volunteers was brilliant!! Thank you for your continued support of Rosemere, it is much appreciated!!

DF – First sportive event I’ve done and loved it all, even the slog up above Stainforth. Really well organised and everyone was very friendly. The Whalley Physios also sorted out my wrecked legs too. Will be back next year – thank you!

RD – Thanks to Bill and the great team of welcoming helpers. Good ride again. Sorry we missed the hot drinks at Gargrave but great stop at Aysgarth where we could buy a hot brew from the shop. Great food and especially the meat pies. Well done guys – best sportive on the planet.

JS – First time I’ve done the Ribble Valley Ride, thoroughly enjoyed it. Food stops were fab. Thanks to the organisers and volunteers for a great day.

BW – Great route. Very well organised. Great food stops and even the weather was much better than predicted. Thanks to Bill Honeywell and everyone who made the event go so well.

MH – Great event. Well organised and every single volunteer couldn’t do enough. Nice bacon butty and massage at the end. Thank you all.

JH – Well organised, well marshalled, well fed, well plotted (although that loop past the caravan park was a toughie at the end). What’s not to like? Plus you raise so much for charity. WELL DONE! (and thanks).

(Another) JH – Brilliant ride as I’m new to cycling! Very well organised and many thanks to all the helpful volunteers along the way. Even got my bike fixed at the end as lost first gear – free of charge! Will do it again next year.

MB – Will be back and thanks to Ed at The Fell for fixing my cable!

CS – Top event again… brilliantly organised and a big thanks to all involved – see you next year!

AM – Second year for me. Brilliant. Thanks for organising a great event.

DR – One of my favourite sportives of the year.

NM – Just to say that this was my first sportive but certainly won’t be my last. Well organised and the choice at the food stops was amazing. Well done to everyone. Fantastic!!

HG – What a brilliant ride. It was my first sportive this year!

PH – Good change to the 60-mile route, enjoyed the road from Airton through Otterburn (new to me). Another well organised day, bravo!

CI – Great event as always, back for my third year next time.

MS – Well done to all who arranged, helped, supported and also to all who took part! Great venue for it at The Fell Bike and Tri!

GK – Amazing weather, fab route although the drop into Malham was hair-raising! Definitely will be back next year!

EH – Top route, top food stop, and a very well organised event. Will come again, thank you all.

AK – Really enjoyed it! Saw a Kingfisher perched on a branch when going over one of the bridges!

AW – On behalf of myself and my son Y we had a lovely day today. Thanks very much for going above and beyond with regard to our diet restrictions. Y very much enjoyed his veggie burger, not to forget the chocolate brownies and flapjacks at the food stop. I think he may have filled his back pockets when no one was looking so apologies if you ran out!

OC – It’s the great sportive that just keeps on giving – very professional.

NW – Thank you Bill Honeywell and team. A grand day out.

SB – Great ride thanks – very well signposted, well done. I will be back next year.

DP – Thanks to the kind volunteers and Bill Honeywell’s team for organising what is fast becoming a must-do on the sportive circuit. An excellent event – take 5 stars!

So don’t take our word for it – but you can see why WE think the Ribble Valley Ride is the BEST cycle sportive in the North of England!
